About the role

The Queenslea, Claremont is located in a beautiful part of greater Perth, close to cafes, shops and amenities. The Queenslea precinct consists of residential aged care, retirement living, health and wellness centre and early learning centre.

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic kitchen hand to assist our Chef in providing a positive food delivery and dining experience for our residents here at The Queenslea. We offer successful applicants an outstanding workplace, beautiful surroundings and a positive and engaging culture.

Skills and experience

A passion for interacting with our residents.

  • Must have, at a minimum, Certificate 2 (prefer Cert 3)
  • Previous experience as a kitchen hand in an aged care environment.
  • Experience in preparation, meals and serving.
  • Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated experience in record keeping
  • Clear communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Work cooperatively within a team environment
