The Fire Trade Co is seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will service and maintain a broad range of fire protection systems and equipment across diverse commercial and industrial sites. Full training will be provided for client-specific systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain fire detection and safety systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve faults across various systems
  • Conduct site inspections and recommend suitable fire protection solutions
  • Deliver work efficiently, managing time and resources proactively
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and best practices

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Current Australian Driver's Licence (essential)
  • White Card (Construction Induction Certificate) (preferred)
  • Working With Children and Police Check (preferred)
  • Prior experience servicing and fault-finding fire systems (preferred)
  • Electrical licence (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Uptick experience (Training provided)

  • Experience in Routine Maintenance associated with AS 1851 – 2012
  • EAHL Licence (preferred)
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
