
Project Transactional Coordinator

Our Project Cost Control department is the central team within the Asia Pacific Construction group, responsible for the management of all financial aspects of Wind Farm projects under construction in the region.
As a Project Transactional Coordinator you would be responsible for all Transactional tasks for wind farm construction projects in Australia & NZ sub-region.
You would be working in a team of friendly and like-minded individuals across Vestas projects in the Australian & NZ sub-region.
Responsibilities
- Raise all required Purchase requisitions (PR) and Purchase orders (PR) in Ariba and SAP, ensuring invoices are checked and approved, must follow the Pay to Procure Vestas procedure
- Assist in the preparation of payment claims and raise each claim (with PCC) according to the reported cash flow and in accordance with the contract requirements. Create PR/POs for any variations, GR all invoices for main subcontractor, ensure invoices are paid according to the SOPA legislation
- Maintain Project WBS / Network activity structures
- Assist with ordering of tools for site
- Ensure all main components are installed into SAP during construction phase of the project
- If required, raise and maintain Service Orders for planned and unplanned site works
- Ensure at the end of each project, all SAP related items are reconciled
- When required, support Site Team and Site Administration
Qualifications
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree - Business Administration or other Project Accounting / Project Management
Competencies
- Strong administration experience in complex project construction environment - SAP experience is a must
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Word, Access and Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to project timelines
- Self-managed, with good communication skills and strong work ethics
- Structured approach to problem solving
- Good understanding of project management principals
