About the Role

We are seeking a practical, hands-on Environmental Planting Overseer / Technician to lead and support the establishment, maintenance, and monitoring of environmental plantings at Arcturus Downs.

You will:

• Lead a small field team and coordinate daily tasks
• Operate tractors and implements for planting, weed control, irrigation, and site maintenance
• Collect and manage biodiversity and planting data using John Deere Operations Centre and other digital tools
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and operational standards
• Contribute to reporting, process improvements, and operational efficiency

This role is perfect for someone who wants to combine field operations with environmental stewardship and play a key role in large-scale landscape restoration.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Experience operating tractors and associated implements, including tractor-mounted spray equipment
• ChemCert and forklift licence
• Australian Driver's Licence
• Experience with John Deere Operations Centre
• Strong attention to detail, safe work practices, and procedural adherence
• Good communication and basic computer literacy

Desirable:

• Environmental monitoring or field data collection experience
• Knowledge of biodiversity surveys or habitat monitoring
• Background in agriculture, natural resource management, or ecological restoration
