Join Our Team – Crew Leader (Full-Time)
Location: Based in Keysborough, with work across multiple South-East Melbourne sites.
Wallara's Land Management Services Division is seeking a passionate and experienced Crew Leader to join our team full-time.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in gardens and grounds maintenance who is ready to take the next step—leading by example while making a meaningful impact. In this role, you'll not only apply your technical skills in land management but also play a vital part in mentoring and supporting people with disabilities as they develop new skills and transition into open employment.
You'll be working across a variety of locations in the South-East, contributing to high-quality horticultural and land care outcomes, while fostering inclusive employment pathways.

- Lead and supervise a dedicated crew in land management tasks

The role is Monday – Friday and hours are between 6:00am – 6:00pm.

What you'll need to succeed
- Grounds and gardens maintenance experience
- Turf experience
- Experience in the use and operation of horticultural equipment
- A good level of mechanical aptitude
- Ability to tow a trailer
- Experience in working with people with different abilities is highly desirable but not essential
- Good communication skills; ability to prevent and resolve issues and to build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders
- Ability to advocate and promote community inclusion and person centred support that exceeds standards and is delivered within the available resources
- Good administration skills and computer literacy in order to complete appropriate documentation
- Highly motivated and outcome driven to complete allotted tasks
- Ability to meet the goals and objectives of the team while working in an independent environment
- Commitment to exceptional service delivery and a demonstrated professional approach to work
- Commitment to the principles of Occupational Health & Safety and Environment, EEO, Cultural Diversity and all relevant legislation.
Must haves
- Right to work in Australia
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Full Victorian Driver Licence
- Certificate in First Aid Level 2 + CPR
- Turf or grounds maintenance qualification and/or allied field (desirable)
- White Card preferred
- Chemcert or equivalent (desirable).
