Working closely with the Director of SMFS and the tax team, the role of Tax Team Assistant is integral to delivering exceptional client service by managing the operational flow of the team.

The role:

  • Preparation of Financial Statement Packs
  • Diary management and client meeting preparation for the Director and SMSF Manager
  • Specific administration support for tax/smsf team including ATO correspondence, lodgments and MyGov portal
  • Preparation and collation of compliance information for clients
  • Providing general administration support for our tax team including scanning, photocopying, correspondence
  • Ensuring client information is kept up to date on all systems
  • Reception support when required (lunch breaks and leave)

You will:

  • Experience in a Tax Accounting Practice is vital
  • Be able to juggle multiple priorities to meet deadlines
  • Seek more efficient ways to manage processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen eye for detail and willingness to learn
  • APS experience preferred
