We're looking for our next Senior Accountant — someone who brings both technical capability and a thoughtful, consultative approach to client care.

This is a hands-on role for a senior accountant who's ready to take ownership of a portfolio of high-quality clients — and wants to do more than just compliance.

You'll be the go-to for tax and advisory matters, working directly with a Director and mentoring junior team members. Your day-to-day will include:

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and complex tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
• Reviewing work by graduate and intermediate accountants
• Responding to client queries and building long-term relationships
• Providing guidance on GST, Division 7A, CGT and other key technical areas
• Supporting tax planning, business advisory and structuring work
• Liaising with the ATO and external advisors on behalf of clients
• Contributing to team learning, workflow improvement, and quality control

You're a technically strong accountant with a proactive mindset, who enjoys being part of a team and solving real client problems. You've worked in a business services firm and are now looking for more ownership, client variety, and stability.

You'll bring:

• 5+ years of full-time public practice experience (business services/tax)
• Strong working knowledge of tax legislation including CGT, Division 7A and GST
• Experience preparing and reviewing financials and tax returns for various entities
• CA/CPA qualification (or currently completing)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• A collaborative approach and interest in mentoring junior staff
• Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
