About The Role
The Senior Network Engineer is a key subject matter expert and reports to the Systems Engineering Lead, Next Generation CAD.

The Senior Network Engineer will use their expertise in supporting Next Generation CAD program across design and implementation to enhance and expand TZV's on-premises and cloud solutions primarily in Azure as well as other hyper-scaler providers as required. We are seeking a candidate with a creative and innovative mindset, as well as a keen eye for detail, resiliency, availability, and sustainability in cloud/on-premises design, engineering, implementation, and delivery practices.

This role offers an excellent career opportunity for individuals with proven experience in designing, deploying, and transitioning network solutions using Cisco ACI fabric, Azure networking, interconnects, and advanced firewall technologies in delivering collaborative solutions for mission critical environments.

The main purpose of the role is to support delivery of the hybrid cloud and on-premises solutions for the TZV transformation program. The scope will focus predominantly on the Next Generation CAD Project.

Day To Day Responsibilities Include

  • Detailed design creation and review of Cisco ACI network infrastructure
  • Key SME role across Cisco ACI network build infrastructure lifecycle
  • Fortinet firewall infrastructure design and build
  • Design, deploy and enhance network security controls
  • Hybrid cloud Azure networking

About You
The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Networking, or a related discipline, as well as the following:

  • Proven experience in a large organisation, supporting 24/7 infrastructure environments
  • Solid Cisco Data Centre ACI design and implementation skills
  • Solid expertise in Azure Networking
  • Extensive experience in the deployment and management of Palo Alto or Fortinet Firewalls.
  • ITIL V3 Certification
