The HB Group is a local Northern Territory family-owned company and a leading supplier of construction and quarry products in the Northern Territory for over 65 years. We are a company with an excellent reputation for premium service within our industry, recently winning Supplier of the Year at the 2025 Civil Construction Federation Awards.

We are currently looking for a casual Yardsman who can also work as a spare driver to drive trucks up to and including road trains, for the suitable candidate with the correct licence, from our depot at 11 Mile. This position is available for an immediate start and will look to convert to full time in the future.

Duties will include general yard maintenance, making bulker bags, pugging, driving the water cart in the yard, and acting as a spare driver to cover absences and leave.

About You:


• A valid NT MC Drivers Licence with sound driving history is preferred, but will accept HC Drivers Licence


• MC Licence must have side tipper experience


• Previous experience operating a loader and water cart is preferred


• An understanding and commitment to health and safety


• A team player with a can-do attitude


• Ability to work in the humidity as a lot of the work is outdoors


• Well presented with excellent communication and customer service skills


• Due to the nature of our projects, you must have the ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends and nights
