Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and experienced individuals to consistently cook and provide quality food in a timely manner whilst adhering to health and safety guidelines. This position will be required to work unsupervised, maintain the organisation of the kitchen and will be responsible for weekly menu planning and ordering for the APDC kitchen.

Candidates Need:

  • Kitchen/cooking experience required

  • Possession of current clean Australian Driver's License.

  • Good written and oral communication skills.

  • Sound level of computer knowledge.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

  • Must have basic knowledge of data reporting/entry.

  • Current first aid certificate or ability to obtain.

  • Current food handlers' certificate

  • Willingness to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
