About the role:Located in the heart of Leichhardt, our client's leading early childhood centre is a nurturing and inclusive space where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to explore their world. They are committed to delivering high-quality early education and care, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and underpinned by strong community values and collaborative partnerships with families.

The Role

As the Educational Leader, you will play a key leadership role in shaping the educational philosophy and curriculum of their centre. This position requires a passionate and experienced early childhood professional who will support educators to enhance learning programs, ensure curriculum compliance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality educational programs across the centre in line with the EYLF and NQS.
  • Mentor and guide educators in their planning, documentation, and reflective practices.
  • Facilitate professional learning and critical discussions that support pedagogical growth and quality teaching.
  • Support the Centre Director in driving a strong team culture focused on collaboration, inclusion, and excellence.
  • Maintain strong relationships with children, families, educators, and the broader community.
  • Ensure the centre's practices align with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and centre philosophy.
  • Collaborate in preparing for Assessment & Rating and lead the educational component.

About You

  • ACECQA-recognised Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • Proven experience in an early childhood setting, with a sound understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and current best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to inspire and support a team of educators.
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and organisational skills.
  • Current Working with Children Check (NSW), First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis, and Child Protection certifications.
