Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Facilities Manager, located in Yamba, NSW. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the aquaculture facility, maintaining equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless operations. The role also includes managing facility staff, scheduling maintenance, monitoring production systems, and overseeing quality control measures. The Facilities Manager will be accountable for the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the facility.

Qualifications

  • Experience in facilities management, including equipment maintenance and operations
  • Knowledge of Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) technology
  • Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations
  • Team management and coordination skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in aquaculture or seafood production facilities is a plus
  • Ability to work on-site in Yamba, NSW
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field
