About the role

We're on the lookout for a dependable Delivery Driver to join our operations team based out of our Adelaide (Edinburgh North) branch.

You will be responsible for delivering and collecting gas cylinders for both commercial and residential customers across various metro and surrounding suburbs.

This is a hands-on, outdoor role that involves frequent manual handling of gas cylinders, so ideal for someone who enjoys staying on their feet

You will:

  • Load and deliver bulk cylinder and individual cylinder products - perform multi drop deliveries.
  • Drive 4–12 tonne trucks, ensuring vehicle safety and cleanliness through pre-start and walkaround checks.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and activity (consignment notes, etc) and meet electronic requirements – including using handheld scanner technology to log deliveries and monitor stock.
  • Prioritize safety at every level, with a high level of safety exerted in road and traffic safety and patience.
  • Report any hazards, safety concerns, near misses and accidents and incidents.
  • Be able to keep track of time and be efficient as possible.
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with clients and customers during deliveries.

You possess:

  • Valid car licence and/or MR/HR licence required - training provided to upskill to MR if required.
  • A Forklift license - desirable but not essential.
  • Sense of independence and problem solve when on your own.
  • A commitment to preventing and managing your own fatigue.
  • Some mechanical knowledge that can be extremely helpful when on the road – how to take care of minor maintenance issues.
  • The ability to respect differences and provide great service that makes every customer interaction feel personal and memorable.
