PROPERTY OFFICER
The Mid-Western Region is located in NSW, around 3 hours from Sydney. With it being one of regional NSW's fastest-growing areas, Mudgee provides a great lifestyle with a welcoming and friendly community, which is why we love it here and the region is such a popular location for tree changers who are looking for a better balance.
As the Mid-Western Region continues to grow and prosper at a steady rate, Council has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Property Officer .
What We can offer
Working with the Property Coordinator who will mentor you through this wide ranging and diverse role as you assist in the management of the council's diverse property portfolio.
You will have the opportunity to work with many different people on many different projects, from Lawyers and Surveyors to Engineers and Contractors with commercial property and crown land to the airport and caravan parks. No two days are the same in this busy and dynamic team.
As with all areas of Council, you will be an integral part of ensuring we fulfil our statutory and procedural obligations relating to property matters in line with Council's strategic objectives and in support of its long-term financial plan.

You are looking for the opportunity to make use of your current experience, perhaps from a role where you were managing and understanding legal documents, such as contracts or sale and land titles, researching and interpreting relevant legislative requirements relating to the life cycle of property acquisition, management and disposal.
You thrive on variety and challenge, equally happy at your desk or on site, working independently or with a team.
You think outside the box and are proactive, whether this is researching native land titles or learning about the engagement process for contractors.
