About the Role

We are looking for motivated and reliable Customer Relations Officers to join Team Vincent. As a Customer Relations Officer you will be the "first point of contact" via phones as well as in person, of the City of Vincent.

Key accountabilities

• Acts as a first point of contact for customers and stakeholders and responds to enquiries ensuring that these are addressed, resolved and/or re-directed for resolution.
• Liaises with customers and stakeholders to deliver service excellence, ensuring that information is accurate, consistent, clearly communicated and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Responds to a wide range of customer enquiries, requests, and complaints, through a variety of customer contact channels, meeting customer expectations in accordance with relevant policies, processes, procedures, and legislation, within agreed service levels and timelines.
• Contributes to a cohesive team environment by sharing information, supporting, and assisting colleagues in a proactive manner to meet goals and deadlines.
• Working both independently, and in a team environment within a customer focused area.

Please note: This is a casual position, and working hours will vary based on operational requirements. All shifts are scheduled on weekdays between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

We aim to offer flexibility and will do our best to accommodate your availability. However, as this role supports operational requirements of the City of Vincent, a degree of flexibility is essential.

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate will have proven experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced customer service environment, with previous experience working in local government being highly regarded.

We are also looking for individuals who have the ability to show initiative, to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and have a friendly "can-do" attitude with a strong customer service ethic.

A National Police Clearance is required for the successful candidate.
