ABOUT THE ROLE
The Employment Services Manager (RAES) holds the responsibility for driving performance and compliance in the delivery of the Remote Australia Employment Services program.
This position is critical to the success in meeting our contractual obligations to the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA), as well as delivering a superior service to our participants/jobseekers and community stakeholders.
Based in Normanton, the position will be responsible for delivering quality employment services across the region including the Normanton, Croydon, Kurumba, Burketown and Gregory communities.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL NEED
- Open QLD 'C' Class manual drivers licence;
- Working with Children Blue Card & National Police Check;
- A relevant Bachelor's Degree with relevant industry experience or lesser qualifications with significant experience, expertise and competence relevant to the position;
- Current knowledge or ability to gain knowledge of labour market conditions/opportunities across the service delivery region;
- Experience in/or understanding of employment and/or community service programs;
- Excellent knowledge of indigenous culture and issues surrounding remote indigenous communities and the challenges they may face relating to obtaining employment;
- Experience working in regional and remote communities
- Ability to develop, lead and inspire a dedicated team of employment services professionals.

- Salary range $100,000-$120,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience. 
- Salary sacrificing up to $15,900.
- 12% Superannuation Guarantee.

- Fully furnished employer provided accommodation - Comfortable and secure 2 bedroom air-conditioned unit.
- Generous annual leave provisions (6 weeks)
