Your new role
The Senior Change Manager, reporting directly to the
Program Manager, is responsible for delivering change management services across the organisation, with a particular focus on managing change arising from strategic projects. This role involves both strategic advisory and hands-on delivery of change management activities and outcomes.
The Senior Change Manager will keep the executive team informed on all change-related matters impacting strategic initiatives. This includes updates on service delivery, progress against key priorities, proactive identification of emerging risks, and the development of mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert strategic change management advice across the organisation's three strategic projects.
- Apply deep knowledge of change management methodologies to support successful project delivery and sustainable change adoption.
- Conduct Change Impact Assessments and develop appropriate change responses.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to create change management documentation, materials, and presentations to support implementation and long-term adoption.
- Lead internal stakeholder engagement and communication efforts in partnership with the Communications Team.
- Represent the projects in stakeholder communications and engagement activities as required.
- Introduce and embed change management tools and templates, progressively building a fit-for-purpose change management framework for the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in delivering change across both technology and business projects (essential).
- Proven track record in leading transformational change initiatives, including driving adoption, enabling benefits realisation, and managing stakeholder engagement and communications within regulatory environments.
- Strong background in designing, documenting, implementing, and evaluating change management strategies, tools, and artefacts.
- Skilled in building and maintaining collaborative stakeholder relationships to support effective business change and transition, with the ability to positively influence key decision-makers.
- Advanced communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to advise, consult, and collaborate with senior leaders and a diverse range of stakeholders on complex and strategic matters.
- Proven capability in change planning, impact analysis, intervention design, resistance management, conceptual thinking, and problem solving.
- Experience in project or program management and business process improvement is highly regarded, though not essential.
