About the role

Medic Aid W.A.' is seeking an experienced Emergency Response Personnel to join our team based in Bunbury, WA. This is a casual role where you will be responsible for providing emergency response and first aid support to our clients in the mining, resources and energy sectors. As part of our Health, Safety & Environment team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing and safety of our workforce.

What you'll be doing

  1. Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and provide immediate first aid treatment
  2. Assess and monitor the condition of injured or unwell personnel
  3. Liaise with emergency services and other medical professionals as required
  4. Maintain accurate records of all incidents and treatments
  5. Support the development and implementation of emergency response plans
  6. Participate in regular training and drills to maintain emergency response skills

What we're looking for

  1. Current qualification as a Registered Nurse, Paramedic or equivalent emergency medical certification
  2. Minimum 2 years' experience in an emergency response or industrial first aid role
  3. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and emergency procedures
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with personnel at all levels
  5. The ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
  6. A current driver's licence and willingness to travel to remote work sites
