Manager – Business Consulting / Professional Services Delivery

Location: Perth, WA

Engagement: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Professional Services / Consulting Manager to lead professional services delivery, customer engagement, and consulting outcomes across a growing ERP services environment. This role sits at a senior leadership level and is responsible for ensuring high-quality project delivery, strong customer relationships, and the effective leadership of consulting and project management teams.

You will work closely with executive leadership and peers across sales, delivery excellence, and customer experience to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard, while identifying opportunities to expand consulting value and share of wallet.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and develop a team of consultants and project managers delivering ERP implementations and upgrades
• Own end-to-end service delivery across a portfolio of customer engagements
• Act as the final escalation point for complex delivery and customer issues
• Partner with sales and account teams to support pipeline growth and value-added consulting opportunities
• Oversee solution design, project governance, and delivery methodologies
• Ensure effective resource utilisation, productivity, and financial performance
• Contribute to business strategy, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Working hands-on with key projects and teams - the best of both worlds in both management and delivery

• Successful delivery of ERP and consulting projects against quality, time, and budget expectations
• High customer satisfaction and long-term client advocacy
• Strong utilisation, productivity, and performance across delivery teams

About You:

You are a credible consulting leader with a strong background in ERP or professional services delivery. You are comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels, engaging confidently with senior stakeholders while remaining hands-on with teams and customers. You bring strong commercial acumen, resilience, and a collaborative leadership style.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Significant experience leading ERP or IT consulting delivery teams
• Proven track record in managing complex implementations and upgrades
• Strong understanding of project governance, SOWs, and delivery methodologies
• Experience managing service delivery performance, utilisation, and budgets
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and customer relationship skills
• Background working within a consulting, systems integrator, or professional services environment

Bonus Points For:

• Experience in mining, mining services, or asset-intensive industries
• Exposure to multi-site, multi-country ERP implementations
• Formal project management or IT service certifications (PRINCE2, PMBOK, ITIL, TOGAF)
• Experience contributing to business strategy and operational risk management
