Role Overview
Cbus Super has a brand new opportunity for a Senior Manager - Marketing Science, where you'll lead the charge in transforming how we measure, model, and optimise marketing performance.
In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead advanced analytics initiatives—including Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM)—to drive smarter decision-making and elevate our brand and marketing effectiveness. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that fuel growth and sharpen our competitive edge.
Role Details
As a strategic leader in our Brand and Marketing department, your responsibilities will include:
- Building and evolving marketing intelligence capabilities to enhance performance measurement across channels.
- Developing robust attribution models, including MMM, to assess and improve marketing effectiveness.
- Applying scientific principles to convert complex datasets into insights that shape marketing strategy.
- Leveraging predictive modelling and data tools to uncover trends, forecast outcomes, and inform targeting.
- Conducting deep-dive analysis to support channel mix optimisation, ROMI measurement, and business case development.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, championing data-led thinking and storytelling.
- Upskilling the team and embedding modern analytics practices into our marketing operations.
- Collaborating across departments—including Data & Analytics, Finance, Risk, and Technology—to align efforts and unlock value.
About You
We're seeking a dynamic and technically skilled leader who brings:
- Demonstrated senior level experience in marketing analytics or data science.
- Deep expertise in marketing measurement methodologies, including MMM.
- Strong SQL and Python skills, with the ability to build and explain models confidently.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of simplifying complexity and influencing stakeholders.
- A STEM-based academic background, ideally in mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
- Experience with marketing data platforms such as GA or Adobe Analytics.
- Proficiency in BI tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
