The Role

We're seeking a talented dog groomer who thrives in a busy, supportive environment. You'll work with a variety of breeds, delivering high-quality grooming and exceptional customer service. The role can be casual, part-time, or full-time—let's chat about what works for you

No weekends or public holidays required Our salon is open Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, so you can enjoy your evenings and weekends off.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform full grooms, tidy grooms, de-shedding, and breed-specific cuts
  • Spa baths, blow dries, nail trims, ear cleaning, and add-on services
  • Consult with pet owners on grooming needs and styles
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and positive salon experience for pets and clients
  • Use gentle handling and anxiety-reducing techniques, especially for nervous dogs
  • Maintain grooming tools and salon hygiene standards
  • Contribute to a fun, collaborative team culture

About You

  • Minimum 5 years' professional dog grooming experience required
  • Confident with a wide range of breeds and coat types
  • Skilled in scissor work, clipping, and breed-standard cuts
  • Passionate about animal welfare and gentle handling
  • Reliable, punctual, and a great communicator
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible availability within our opening hours (Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm)
