Bring community marketing to life at one of Australia's leading retirement living providers
At Levande, we believe retirement is something to look forward to. We're creating vibrant communities that support independence, connection and wellbeing—and marketing plays a key role in bringing this vision to life at a local level.
We're now seeking proactive and community-minded Local Area Marketing Associates to join our Sales & Marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager – Developments, you'll support the planning and delivery of tailored marketing initiatives that build local awareness, generate leads, and drive community engagement for our portfolio of villages.
About the Role
This hands-on role will see you working closely with the Marketing Manager to develop, execute, and optimise local area marketing (LAM) activities that align with sales objectives and bring the Levande brand to life in local communities.
We are currently recruiting for two Local Area Marketing Associate positions. One role will focus on supporting our village in Epping, while the other will cover developments in Oatlands and Castle Hill. Regular travel will be required within the assigned areas.
This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of working from home, time on-site at villages, in the local communities, and in-office collaboration.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting and executing local marketing plans in line with project sales timelines and objectives
Building and maintaining strong relationships with local businesses, referrers, and community organisations
Organising and promoting local events, pop-ups, and information sessions to engage with the over-65 audience
Briefing and managing the creation of relevant local content, including brochures, flyers, and photography
Enhancing customer journeys by supporting CRM-based communications and tracking key customer touchpoints
Coordinating with internal stakeholders, creative agencies, and media partners on campaign delivery
Maintaining up-to-date and well-stocked marketing collateral across developments
Monitoring local marketing performance and contributing to reporting and recommendations
What You'll Bring
1–3 years' experience in marketing, community engagement, or partnership roles
A genuine ability to build and maintain relationships with older Australians and their families
Excellent communication skills across a variety of stakeholders, including senior leaders
Proven experience developing and executing local marketing initiatives
Strong consumer insight with the ability to translate local knowledge into impactful actions
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple activities
Access to your own car and a valid driver's licence (essential, due to local travel requirements)
Previous experience in a similar role, particularly within retirement living, real estate, or property marketing
Experience in sales, community engagement, or partnership-driven roles
A background in sectors where trust and local presence are critical to success (e.g. aged care, health, or lifestyle services)
Familiarity with retirement living, healthcare, or other lifestyle-related industries
What Success Looks Like
Delivery of effective local campaigns that drive leads, referrals and brand awareness
A growing local partner and referrer network actively supporting sales efforts
High-quality, relevant marketing content and collateral delivered on time
Well-attended events that support community connection and brand engagement
Strong collaboration with Sales, Marketing and Operations teams to align efforts
Why Join Levande?
At Levande, we care deeply about our purpose, our people, and the communities we support. You'll enjoy:
A flexible and supportive team environment
The opportunity to shape how retirement living is promoted and perceived locally
A values-led culture that rewards curiosity, initiative, and doing things the right way
Ready to make a local impact?
Apply now and help shape a retirement lifestyle people truly look forward to, community by community.
