Joining HSBC CIB as a Senior Associate with our Global Network Banking (GNB) team based in Sydney, you will be responsible for preparing credit submissions and working closely with the GNB NSW Relationship Managers to support the management of client accounts.
With HSBC's Global Network Banking team, you will be joining a business that provides a gateway to HSBC's global network, providing the opportunity to build strong relationships with our international stakeholders and clients across key corridors of the US, United Kingdom, Europe, Asia Pacific and Middle East. This exposure provides the opportunity to further develop your career across a breadth of industries and products such as traditional credit and lending, infrastructure finance, working capital solutions and transactional banking, while building a strong international network.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Writing specialised corporate credit papers, with a strong focus on credit quality and analysis. This includes, debt financing and/or working capital financing.
Financial analysis and interpretation of financial statements, including a degree of financial modelling and sensitivity analysis.
Ensuring portfolio and customer compliance at all times, including, but not restricted to, KYC, AML, Anti-bribery and corruption and sanctions.
Maintaining an understanding of the customer's industry and associated markets.
Managing an existing portfolio of client relationships and assisting with the development of robust
