Provide engineering leadership across project planning, offshore/site work, tender preparation, and execution.
Mentor and guide Project & Graduate Engineers, assign tasks, monitor progress, and foster growth.
Define and forecast manning/resourcing needs; contribute to cost estimates, engineering task definitions, and CTRs.
Generate and review technical documentation, including calculations, specifications, procedures, layouts, schematics, and equipment lists.
Lead HAZID workshops; ensure engineering outputs meet MMA and client technical, quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with CAD designers in Perth and Singapore; manage external engineering partnerships.
Support offshore execution phases with technical oversight and ensure adherence to HSEQ guidelines.
Drive innovation and promote improvements in products, services, and processes, supporting new development opportunities.
Handle administrative duties such as timesheets, PRs, POs, and document control.
We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Engineer with over 5 years of experience in offshore and subsea engineering.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in subsea system design, installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair. Experience with structural or naval architectural design, especially of temporary items like seafastenings and installation aids.
Project Management Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, coordinate project activities, and manage resources to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
Commercial Acumen: Experience in tender development, providing man hours, costs, and technical input. Ability to identify opportunities for project variations.
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including project and operations teams.
HSEQ Commitment: Ability to facilitate HAZID meetings/workshops.
