**Your new role awaits**:
Based at our **Dandenong Office**, you will be responsible for actively supporting and delivering upon a broad range of fleet performance activities in the designated region/business unit to optimise fleet utilisation and achieve maximum return on the investment in capital assets. The role is also responsible for ensuring nationally led improvement initiatives focused on the effective control and fleet deployment process are implemented in the region/business unit.
- Lead our uncompromising Safety First culture throughout the organisation and supplier relationships.
- Deliver a variety of fleet deployment initiatives, activities and services to optimise fleet utilisation and achieve maximum return on the investment in capital assets in the region/business unit.
- Ensure fleet is in the right location at the right time to meet customer demands and enable the region to outperform local competitors on reliability & availability
- Implement nationally devised fleet deployment initiatives and activities through the region/business unit to enable the branch network to maximise fleet utilisation
- Implement nationally devised strategies to addressing underperforming and under-utilised fleet
- Contribute ideas and remedies for consideration into the development of different strategies and initiatives aimed at optimising fleet deployment and utilisation
- Deeply understand current fleet performance in the region use facts to maximise fleet utilisation and deployment across the region

**About you**:
As well as being a self-starter with a flexible attitude, you will have:

- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills coupled with excellent communication
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple priorities
- Sound financial/commercial acumen with Hire Industry knowledge would be advantageous
- Ability to take initiative, make independent judgments/decisions
- Excellent computer software skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)
