Product Development Coordinator

**Job Brief**:
Bring your Technologist skills to this exciting and dynamic role coordinating product development for a market leading company.
**The Position**
Reporting to the Product Development Manager, this role will be responsible for creating and launching innovative new products, improving the value of existing products, ensuring the robust commercialization and ensuring the accurate and timely creation of all necessary technical documentation, specifications and input to business systems.
Your duties will be, but not limited to:
- Developing new products & improvement to existing products meeting liking, cost and operational feasibility targets.
- Supporting the NPD manager and the broader product development team as required.
- Organising and executing product development commercialisation including factory trials.
- Develop and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including operations, quality assurance, NPD team members, marketing and sales, customers and a range of suppliers.
- Have a high degree of knowledge in company production processes, ingredients, formulation, business systems and sustainability.
**About you**
- Degree in Food Science or related field.
- 5 Years + relevant experience in food manufacturing industry (experience with product development in FMCG/fresh produce highly regarded).
- In depth knowledge of FSANZ and strong technical ability in interpreting food regulations.
- Ability to work autonomously and to achieve KPIs within time frames.
- Desire to work in a hyper fast paced environment.
- Willing to work within a chilled factory environment.
- Passion to create new innovative seafood products and ready to have fun with an amazing team
