Programmed Training Services in partnership with a Local City Council are seeking highly motivated individuals seeking a career in Parks and Gardens.

Programmed Training Services in partnership with a Local City Council are seeking highly motivated individuals seeking a long-term career within the horticulture industry.

This is a great opportunity to learn a trade throughout this 3-year apprenticeship while studying towards a Certificate III in Parks & Gardens.

**As an apprentice you will be**:

- Committed to safety
- Have a genuine interest in Gardening/Horticulture
- Hold a current driver's licence
- Willing to learn and able to take instruction
- Physically fit

**Duties may involve but are not limited to**:

- Maintain park and park assets
- Control plant pests, diseases and disorders
- Tree maintenance and minor structure repair.
- Plant and maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, flower/plant beds and maintain hard landscaping
- Troubleshoot irrigation systems

**School leavers are encouraged to apply.**
