**My Gateway** has a fantastic opportunity for 1st year Carpentry apprentices

Our client is an international Tier 1 construction company with headquarters in Sydney and regional head offices in New York, Singapore & London.
We are looking for 1st year Apprentice Carpenters for their upcoming commercial projects based around Sydney.

You will have the opportunity to work with & learn from the very best in different trades of the construction industry, giving you experience that will be highly valuable the rest of your career and a huge advantage over your competition.

This position is an amazing stepping stone for someone who wants a long term career with a view to head into building and construction management and become a future leader in the Industry.

As part of this apprenticeship you will gain skills, experience and a nationally recognised trade qualification - **Certificate III in Carpentry.**

The role requires passion, energy and the drive to take charge of your own learning and career development.
Working on large construction sites forming up steps, cutting timber, building columns, constructing ramps, working with Steel, using various power & hand tools, constructing site fencing, working with sub-contractors in various trades and attending TAFE to learn about the construction industry.
Assist and learn from a range of sub contract trades to learn about whole construction process e.g. formworkers, steel fixers, interiors (plasterers, metal wall frames, suspended ceilings), plumbers, electricians, window/facade installers, waterproofers, tilers and painters.
