**About us**:
Bay City Early Learning Centre is located within the Geelong CBD.

We have been educating and caring for children in the Geelong and surrounding areas since 1995.

We are a 103 place; well resourced centre and we are looking for our next Centre Manager to lead our centre.

**About you**:
You are a passionate, knowledgeable and self-driven Centre Manager, who has extensive experience and a strong desire to lead, inspire, support and manage our team of Educators, and run the day-to-day operations of a busy centre.

You are keen to build authentic and strong relationships with families and children and work alongside our families and educators to offer the children a high-quality learning environment that meets their needs and interests.

**Your role**:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the centre in line with legislative requirements, and company policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to all staff.
- Work with our Educational Leader to ensure that high-quality early learning programs are delivered by our passionate team of Educators.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, educators, and the wider local community.

**Selection Criteria**
- A Diploma in Children's Services or Early Childhood Degree as approved by ACECQA.
- A minimum 3 years’ experience as a Centre Director in an early childhood setting
- .Extensive understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework (VEYLDF), the Early Years Learning and Development Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor a large team of dedicated and committed early childhood professionals.
- The ability to support and implement critical thinking and reflective practice in the centre.
- A good sense of humour.
