**Your new role**

We are looking for a brilliant communicator
- that loves everything that is data More so we’re after someone who can help solve the hardest and most complex data challenges faced by government in their mission, intelligence and IT environments whilst also enhancing an embedded team of data professionals across our established programs and projects.

As the Trusted data, AI & ML lead** **you will play a role in leading the Data Practice in the management, analysis, manipulation, and interpretation of data. You will be a thought leader in the Bid/Program space to solve some of Government and Defences biggest challenges.

You will proactively shape thinking of what data, how it it is leveraged, using what technologies/platforms for which business benefits. You will also advocate for improved approaches to strategic service delivery by supporting digital capabilities and contributing to information sharing frameworks.

You will also be a thought leader and advocate into our delivery activities working with an impressive cadre of data professionals engaged in data engineering, information management, analytics, AI and ML disciplines.

**You will also have**:

- Extensive knowledge of current and trending data/information technologies such as data lake technologies, cloud (AWS, Google and Azure), taxonomies, handling of unstructured data etc.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with a focus on simplification.
- High level written and oral communication skills and excellent organisational skills.
- Prior experience and knowledge in the transformation of large scale data environments is essential.
- Leads the creation and maintenance of architectural documentation (i.e. roadmaps, architectures, business cases) describing logical pathways and approaches now and into the future for sponsored areas.
- Ensures the Data and Information architecture is coordinated and aligned with relevant legacy, governance, security and/or operational constraints etc.
- A thorough understanding and working knowledge of the dynamic data and information vendor ecosystem and their strengths, weaknesses and specific points of leverage.
- Experience effecting global knowledge transfer in the context of local operations, mission and intelligence context is desirable

**Qualifications**:
**About you and what you’ll bring**

You will have exceptional stakeholder skills and solid experience in a Data Architecture and data transformation within large and complex organisations. The core of this role is to lead the Trusted Data, AI and ML practice to ensure we understand clients’ requirements and design and develop pragmatic end-to-end Information Architectures.

You will be considered a senior thought leader with extensive knowledge of business operation, processes, information management and data architecture. You are familiar working with operations, mission and intelligence data sets and their nuances when it comes to solution development. You will at times lead and at others be part of a team that works with the clients to support and lead their strategic technology direction and drive business value.
