**Role Description**

We are seeking a skilled Building Associate to join our demolition and civil operations team. The role involves supervising on-site activities, coordinating labour and subcontractors, and ensuring that all demolition and building works comply with relevant plans, codes, and safety regulations. The position reports directly to the Operations Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assisting Construction Managers, Architects, and Surveyors in planning and organisation of demolition and building projects
- Interpreting plans, regulations, and codes of practice to ensure compliance
- Preparing and revising preliminary sketches, working drawings, and specifications
- Coordinating works programs and scheduling labour, subcontractors, and machinery
- Inspecting demolition and construction works, as well as materials, for compliance with specifications, regulations, and standards
- Calculating costs and estimating time scales for projects
- Collecting data using surveying instruments and photogrammetric equipment
- Performing routine computations and plotting preliminary data

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Diploma of Building and Construction (or equivalent qualification)
- Knowledge of demolition processes, National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, and Work Health & Safety regulations
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office, project management software, CAD desirable)

**Experience**
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in construction or demolition supervision
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate resources, subcontractors, and materials on site
- Proven track record of working within time and cost constraints while maintaining safety and compliance

Pay: $85,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
