**Hi I'm Kristy,**

**I'm looking for a female support worker to join my team.**

I'm a 43 year old woman who is strongly independent. I'm also creative and I love nature, my little dog Archie and my cat Theo are real characters. I’m chronically ill, suffering from a severe auto-immune condition and serious health complications. One of my dedicated team of support workers visits each morning to help me manage my illness and my home. They also provide support on some afternoons/evenings. With their help I've been able to continue to live in my own home despite my challenging state of health.

**The Position**: Casual, long-term with regular shifts.

We currently have the opportunity for a new support worker to join my team.

2 regular morning shifts per week (8:30am - 2:30pm) with some evening/sleep shift availability.
Flexibility would be a bonus, eg the ability to cover a morning shift sometimes when another support worker is away, or to do an occasional afternoon shift.

Shifts cover both weekdays & weekends. Starting pay for weekdays is $35/hr and weekends $45/hr (Super annuation is paid at the standard rate).

**The services my team provide for me include**:

- Personal care assistance, including toileting and showering
- Support with medication and health management plan
- Assistance with meal preparation
- Support to access the community and provision of transport
- Domestic assistance to ensure a clean environment
- House and yard maintenance
- Assistance with grocery shopping, product orders, claims and record keeping

**The successful applicant** would be a reliable, professional female who is able to follow instructions, use initiative and manage time well. I hope to find someone who has life experience, a positive personality and a good sense of humour.
- Prior experience is preferred
- Must live within 25km of Doubleview
- Drivers license and car required
- Must have good English skills (both written and verbal)
- Must be a non-smoker
- Must be over 25yrs old

COVID-19 considerations:
Support workers wear N95 masks and sanitise hands and surfaces regularly.
