**What can you expect?**

Marsh & McLennan Agency (MMA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Marsh, serving the risk prevention and insurance needs of middle market companies in Australia.

As part of this position, you will manage the placement of existing and new business while serving as a key negotiator and problem solver in obtaining the most appropriate placements based on our client needs. Providing a value-add service to client service teams you will use your expertise in the market to leverage the best possible solutions for clients.

This is an ideal opportunity for a senior Broker wishing to demonstrate their strong relationship management and marketing skills within an exciting dynamic business unit

**W**e will count on you to**:

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with underwriters, practice leaders, claims personnel and client service teams
- Assisting in the Design, Planning and implementation of clear and effective renewal and broking strategies as required
- Working within and across the region to support new business growth and assist in the development of new products
- Keeping abreast of changing market conditions and informs practice client servicing teams, and/or clients of major developments affecting various types of coverage

**What you need to have**:

- Ideally, a minimum of five years’ experience within a broking, underwriting or placement position
- A solid understanding of risk management and major classes of insurance (Property, Liability and Motor) would be highly regarded
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Relevant Broking qualifications (Tier 1 Compliance) and tertiary studies are desired

**What you need to have**:

- Strong industry and placement experience
- Strong sales acumen and client management skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Travel will be required
