**Practice Manager - General Practice, Gold Coast QLD**

**Location**: Gold Coast, QLD
**Position**: Full-Time or Part-Time (Negotiable)
**Remuneration**: $38-$45 per hour (commensurate with experience)

**About the Practice**:
We are a well-established, accredited general practice based on the Gold Coast with a dedicated team of GPs, nurses, and administrative staff. Our clinic provides high-quality patient-centred care and is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead our day-to-day operations and support our ongoing growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily operations, systems, and workflows across clinical and administrative teams
- Manage Medicare billing, batching, and reconciliation
- Coordinate rosters, HR processes, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with RACGP Standards and accreditation processes
- Liaise with accountants, IT providers, external stakeholders, and suppliers
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and KPI tracking
- Support PIP/QI, practice incentive programs, and clinic marketing initiatives

**Essential Criteria**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in medical practice management (GP clinic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Medicare billing and item numbers
- Proficient in clinical software
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and work independently
- Understanding of AGPAL/QPA accreditation standards

**Desirable**:

- Diploma of Practice Management or business qualifications
- Experience in payroll, bookkeeping, or MYOB/Xero
- Familiarity with data reporting for PHNs and government incentive programs
