East Grampians Health Services success is underpinned by the work of our support services at both Ararat and Willaura campuses. These include kitchen and food services, cleaning, supply, building and environmental maintenance. Additionally, the EGHS Ararat campus operates and maintains its own café (Café Pyrenees) available to all staff, patients, visitors and the wider community. Each of these program areas are vital to ensuring the safe, efficient and welcoming environment of EGHS.

**About the Role**:
The role works closely alongside with Support Services management and is responsible for supervising, co-ordinating and leading the catering team for the provision and delivery of quality food services to EGHS as required in line the Food Safety Act. As well as supervising, co-ordinating and leading the environmental team to ensure the effective and efficient environment services as per cleaning standards for Victorian Health Facilities.

**About You**:
We are seeking applicants with:

- Ability to work within and contribute to the Mission/Values of EGHS
- Experience within the Health Care industry, preferably within a hospital setting
- Some experience in assisting with the management of rosters.
- An understanding of, and commitment to, quality improvement, maintaining standards of cleanliness and infection control
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to relate to a variety of people in a professional manner
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety
- Experience with supervision of staff
- Administrative experience
