About The Role

Our Penrith site is in Greater Western Sydney on the Nepean River's banks and manufactures more than 50 milk-based products. The site currently produces around 145 million litres of product annually - receiving and processing milk 24 hours per day, seven days a week, 365 days a year We proudly source milk from around 60 dairy farms across NSW and are passionate about supporting local products.

Are you good at working with people and want to lead a team? We are looking for a Team Manager - Blow Moulding to lead a team to ensure the production requirements are met and the team are looked after. Previous manufacturing and leadership experience would be beneficial but not essential - we are after someone who has a passion for people and is willing to learn and develop

The incumbent must be flexible to work the Monday - Friday afternoon shift (1 pm start - 9 pm finish) and on-call after hours /weekends.

**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the team to ensure our products are manufactured safely, in full and on time- Coach and develop team members to achieve targets across the site- Use problem-solving techniques to resolve non-conformance and other related issues- Ensure compliance to food safety, environmental and good manufacturing practices are followed- Support the sites annual operation plans and communicate to teams to ensure cascading of information

About you- Have a passion for people and want to coach and lead a high performing team- Proven experience influencing stakeholders and ensuring targets are met- Ability to build and support a positive Safety and Wellbeing Culture- Experience and knowledge in milk manufacturing, quality and engineering would be advantageous- Sound knowledge of computer systems (SEQIS/SAP/EXCEL)
