Junior Legal Assistant

What are we looking for?

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a positive, energetic and highly motivated Junior Legal Assistant to join our Workers Compensation team at our Geelong office. This role is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity.

Our clients can be entitled to a range of benefits and compensation under the Workers Compensation Scheme. Our Lawyers in the Workers Compensation team, understand that suffering a workplace injury, can present major hurdles to overcome. They support our clients every step of the way with care, understanding, flexibility and support. Our Lawyers take care of the legal needs, so our clients can take care of their recovery.

This exciting position will have you responsible for providing administrative support to our busy team, with ongoing training and development.

Daily duties will include:

- File administration
- Diary management
- Liaising and corresponding with clients
- All other administrative tasks (photocopying, archiving files, billing).
- Working with a close knit, high achieving team you will be guided and mentored throughout your role with the opportunity to grow an develop your career

What will you bring?
- A Certificate in Business Administration, Diploma and/or experience in the legal field will be highly regarded.
- Experience in administration/customer service
- Outstanding communication skills
- Tech savy and the ability to learn new computer system quickly
- Superior customer service and presentation skills
- Organised and proactive approach
- Ability to confidently multi-task
- A willingness to learn
- Friendly and cheerful demeanour.
