**About the role**

City of Parramatta are seeking skilled and driven individuals with experience in asphalt labouring to become part of our dynamic team.

As a member of the Asphalt team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing Parramatta’s Civil Infrastructure assets, contributing to the overall aesthetic appeal of our vibrant City

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the installation and repair of asphalt surfaces.
- Use hand and power tools to prepare surfaces for asphalt, such as grading and compacting.
- Operate equipment such as rollers, pavers, and skid steers.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks
- Follow instructions and complete tasks within a set timeframe.

**About You**

**Qualifications**:

- MR Truck licence
- White Card
- TCR and IMP traffic controller certificates _or the ability and willingness to obtain the certificate prior to confirmation of employment _

**What’s on offer**

This is a permanent full-time opportunity:

- Monday to Friday
- 9-Day Fortnight
- 6.00am-3.00pm
- 38 hours per week

We are offering an attractive salary from $63,897 to $70,362 plus 11.5% superannuation.

This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, this could include the Adverse Working Conditions Level Allowance.
