**About this role**

An opportunity in Mitchelton has become available for a proactive, detail-oriented person looking to contribute to the team and to make a real difference in the lives of our elderly residents. The role requires someone who is highly organised, able to juggle various duties, shows imitative and committed to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment at our Warwick Residential Aged Care facility.

Duties to include but not limited to:

- Assisting in the preparation of meals; maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment.
- Assist with the serving of meals, including setting up and cleaning the dining room, trolleys and trays.
- Maintain the laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding and distribution of linen and resident clothing.
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility’s residential areas

To be suitable for the position, ideally you have:

- Certificate II in Cookery or similar (desirable)
- Previous relevant experience, preferably within a team environment. (desirable)
- Experience working in the aged care industry. (desirable)

Possess or willingness to obtain;
- A National Police Certificate
