**The Opportunity**

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Orrcon Steel business in our **Gillman** team as a **Team Leader (Afternoon Shift)**. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally_ _recognised brands.
- base hourly rate of **$32.97** **an hour** **plus 15% loading** plus super
- profit share with 10% annual bonus
- afternoon shift - 2:00pm - 10:06pm

Reporting to the Afternoon Shift Supervisor, this is your chance to secure a satisfying and enjoyable leadership opportunity within a great team. You’ll work closely with our supervisor to develop and build your leadership capability for the afternoon shift operations. In addition, you’ll be responsible for scheduling truck deliveries and pick-ups, coordinating the daily scope of work for the team and assist with receiving and storing materials, assembling and loading orders, dispatch duties and equipment operation.

**What Will You Do?**

With a strong focus on teamwork, you’ll support the warehouse supervisor and be responsible for**:

- with development, supervise our afternoon shift operational activities
- the day-to-day shift planning and scheduling and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and performance
- support and assist your team with their daily operational activities including safe loading and unloading of trucks; picking and packing of orders to meet set deadlines; and operating saws and other processing equipment
