**PAYROLL TEAM LEADER**

**The Role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced **Payroll Team Leader **to join the Spendless Finance Team. You will play a pivotal role delivering exceptional customer experiences to our Shoe Crew, leading the payroll team, and most importantly ensuring all our team members are paid accurately and on time.

**Key requirements to be successful in this role**:

- Excellent customer service focus
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Experience with:

- Managing the end-to-end payroll function in a medium sized organisation (1,500 team members)
- Relevant payroll solution environment (eg: Dayforce SAP, MicrOpay, CHRIS21).
- Time & Attendance software in a roster-based environment.
- Uploading bank files relating to payroll, taxation, and superannuation
- Demonstrated knowledge of:

- State-based payroll related tax legislation, including long service leave calculations and preparation and submission of payroll tax via online portals.
- Superannuation legislation and payment requirements.
- Award interpretation.
- Generating Employment Agreement letters
- A passion for reviewing and improving payroll process, procedures, and work practices.
- Proficiency in Excel is a must (intermediate to advanced skills)

You will have a strong emphasis on teamwork and providing a high level of customer service to our Shoe Crew. You will be an excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills. A proactive problem-solving approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team is a must. Of course, you will also be familiar with financial reporting processes and procedures and have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
