**About the role**:
As a Team Leader in **Grocery**, your day will involve:

- Leading the shift; delegating tasks to Team Members
- Training and guiding Team Members
- Welcoming customers, answering their questions and helping them locate items
- Replenishing and rotating stock displays ensuring excellent quality and presentation
- Advising customers about seasonality, provenance, product use and cooking ideas
- Ensuring produce is correctly ticketed with correct prices and descriptions
- Receiving deliveries of fresh produce, organising and maintaining cool rooms and storage areas to maintain freshness and reduce wastage
- Ensuring the Fruit & Veg section of the store is clean, tidy and free of hazards

**You will need**:

- At least **one years' **of experience working at Team Leader level in a food retail setting
- Experience in stocktake processes and stock ordering
- A friendly attitude, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a high level of competence in written and spoken English
- A love of working with food
- A high level of energy and ability to take direction and show initiative
- Ongoing daytime, evening and weekend availability. (You do not need to be available all the time - we are flexible; your standard roster will be agreed based on operational needs as well as your own.)
