This is a great opportunity to make the move away from Accountancy practice and into a global insurance giant. Our client is one of the largest insurance firms internationally, with operations across the globe, a strong and stable leadership team and proven track record of career progression internally. Fox Global Partners is currently working with the Australia Internal Audit Manager to recruit for an Internal Auditor to join their local team based in luxurious offices in the heart of Sydney. They have been operating in Australia for over 50 years and regularly feature in various “best places to work” lists.

**The Role**

The Internal Audit role will be based in Sydney and will would be part or a much larger and diverse team. The role reports into Internal Audit Manager (Australia), but will also work closely with the Senior Manager, and Australia Head of Audit and Risk

The key element of the role is to help execute the internal audit plan by performing internal audit fieldwork, which would be followed up in a timely manner.

Other key duties include
- As part of the team, identify weaknesses and risks to recommend improvements.
- Assist in the whole audit process from scoping through to planning, fieldwork and reporting into the Audit Manager
- Assist in the preparation of the annual risk assessment.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as directed by senior management
