Adelaide Venue Management Corporation (AVM) operates three of Adelaide’s most iconic and commercially successful event venues - the Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC), Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC) and Coopers Stadium (CS).

**The Role**

As Maintenance Manager**it will be your responsibility to oversee all aspects of**maintenance and compliance across both the AEC and Coopers Stadium Hindmarsh venues as well as delivering various building work projects as part of the AVM annual capital works investment program.

Engaging with the AVM and AEC various teams is essential to create an ongoing and cohesive positive relationship across all areas of the business.

Leading onsite personnel and contractors, engaging with AVM partners when required and providing a high degree of attention to compliance and timing of scheduled maintenance to all building systems to a high standard is required to satisfy the expectations of the AVM corporation and to provide a safe, reliable and efficient space for the patrons to enjoy.

**Skills you will bring to the role**
- Experience in contractor management, compliance and preventative maintenance.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on proactive approach.
- Commercially minded with the ability to manage budgets effectively.
- Experience in overseeing minor works and refurbishment projects.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the capacity to prioritise multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, principles and risk management practices

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage reactive and preventative maintenance programs.
- Maintain compliance testing and safety standards as per the Australian Standards.
- Oversee contractors and suppliers with a focus on quality and value.
- Budget management and deliver cost effective solutions.
- Proactive response to urgent maintenance issues.
- Availability for urgent after-hours response.
- Create a positive team environment.
