**Your new role**

Will involve undertaking quality conveyor belt fabrication, repair, or replacement in accordance with company standards. This will include but is not limited to cutting belts to size, lacing belts, punching belts and gaskets, cutting material with shears, preparing and vulcanizing belts using various splice styles, preparing belts to take profiles and bonding, boots and sheet rubbers, cutting hose and performing hose assemblies, as well as performing field installations. You will also conduct periodic inspections of equipment, reporting to the Supervisor and providing mechanical maintenance assistance as required. This will include conveyor roller change outs, conveyor belt cover installations, belt condition monitoring, pulley lagging repair and replacement, carry back measurements, and pulley and rubber chute relines.

- Belt Splicing/Polymer Processing Certificate
- Current Drivers Licence
- High Risk Work Licence: Forklift, EWP, Dogging, Rigging etc
- Confined Spaces ticket
- Working at Heights ticket
- Gas Test Atmospheres ticket
