**What you will do with us**:
The Data and Planning Co-Ordinator will assist in the coordination and scheduling of production activities to ensure the timely delivery of products while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

**Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:

- Work closely to develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for various departments based on customer orders, demand forecasts, and inventory levels.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate production activities, and communicate production priorities effectively.
- Prepare reports and advise recommendations for production efficiency, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover and identify areas for improvement.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components required for production, maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions and lead times.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and other relevant documentation following organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate uploading of client Purchase Orders (PO's) into the system, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Perform tasks related to updating and uploading batches to SAP, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company standards.

**About you**
- A Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Planning, or a related discipline is advantageous.
- At least 2+ years' experience in production planning, with a proven track record of managing complex production operations preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Exceptional time management skills, be able to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy & quality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes & proficiency in using production planning software and tools.
- Ability to analyze complex production issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage resources, schedules, and priorities effectively.
