**About the company**
Our client is privately owned and a well-known agribusiness industry leader. Their Australian operations are diverse with a national footprint and a Brisbane southside head office. They are seeking a detail-oriented junior Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team of three assisting in managing their domestic and overseas AR process.

**About the role**

Duties include but not limited to
- Manage accounts receivable functions, including receipting, invoice matching, and payment investigation.
- Handle domestic and overseas bank accounts, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and customer queries.
- Manage the accounts receivable inbox, promptly responding to customer inquiries.
- Support ad-hoc reception relieving duties, such as answering phone calls and greeting visitors.

**About YOU**
- 2+ years experience as an Accounts Receivable Officer or in a similar role. (_preferably cash receipting experience_)
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable principles, processes, and best practices.
- Proficient in using JD Edwards or UniWorks and excellent Excel skills are highly desired
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Eager to learn, demonstrate initiative and take responsibility
