We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated person who is passionate about style to join our dedicated and supportive team in a part-time capacity as an Optical Assistant/Dispenser in our Browns Plains practice.

**Description**:
Key Accountability Areas & Related Responsibilities
- Be able to use your previous customer service experience and knowledge to communicate clearly with patients and visitors in a bright, friendly manner and promptly attend to their needs
- Provide your fashion expertise to help patients choose frames that not only meet their needs/desires, but also look great
- Willing to keep up-to-date with product knowledge and fashions (e.g. frames, sunglasses, contact lens and accessories)
- Have experience with, or be willing to be trained, in standard optical workshop procedures and technologies
- Maintain a tidy practice environment to ensure a positive overall patient experience

**Skills and Experiences**:
About you
- Previous customer service experience in the optical industry or a similar industry is preferred but not mandatory
- Well-presented with an excellent sense of fashion with eyewear and colour
- Willingness to work in a team with a positive can-do attitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills and the ability to build rapport with our patients
- Must be available to work at least 25 hours per week, including late nights on Tuesday and Thursday
