Caringbah, Australia Swimmerz Academy Full time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging swim lessons for children, youth, and/or adults in accordance with recognized swim programs (e.g., Austswim, SCTA or Royal Life Saving).
- Assess participants’ abilities and tailor lessons to ensure progressive skill development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants by enforcing pool rules and responding effectively to emergencies.
- Provide positive, encouraging feedback and communicate progress to participants and/or parents.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and progression.
- Set up and pack down equipment for lessons as required.
- Promote water safety awareness and encourage good swimming habits.
- Work collaboratively with other instructors, lifeguards, and management staff.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Recognized Learn to Swim Instructor qualification (e.g., Austswim, SCTA or Royal Life Saving)
- Current CPR
- Experience teaching swimming to a range of age groups and abilities (preferred but not essential).
- Working with Children Check
- Knowledge of water safety and emergency procedures.

**Work Conditions**:

- Must be comfortable working in water for extended periods.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $27.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 5 per week
