**Looking for a Marvellous Nanny in Cannon Hill**

**Start Date**: 10 November 2025
**Pay Rate**: $35-$40 per hour + super and leave entitlements
**Contract Type**: Permanent Part Time (minimum 12 months)

**Days & Hours**:

- Minimum 3 full days (possibly a 4th full day or a half day - flexible on which days)
- 8:30am-4:00pm

**About the Family**:
This professional family is returning to Brisbane after 10 years in Melbourne. They have two young boys, aged 3 years and 12 months when the role begins. Mum works in finance and Dad is starting a new business.

The family enjoys time outdoors, especially at the park. Their eldest is a gentle boy who loves dinosaurs, cars, animals, and kicking the ball. His naps are becoming less frequent, though he still has quiet rest time. Their youngest is curious and active, currently on two naps a day and moving from purees to family foods. The household has a cleaner, no pets, and no known medical conditions or allergies.

**What We’re Looking For**:
A reliable, highly experienced career nanny with many years in the industry. A background or strong interest in early education would be valued to support learning and development.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**For the Children**
- Provide attentive care for both boys (3 years & 12 months).
- Prepare meals and snacks for the children; offer milk feeds for youngest.
- Support nap routines (toddler quiet time, baby’s 2-1 nap transition).
- Assist with toileting and personal care (toilet reminders, nappies, handwashing, dressing).
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate play and outings (parks, playgroups, library, sensory play, crafts, reading, music).
- Support developmental milestones through(language, counting, colours, motor skills).
- Provide comfort, reassurance, and positive guidance.

**Household Support**
- Assist with simple family dinner prep (e.g., chopping vegetables).
- Laundry and light household tasks (tidying after meals/activities, dishes, vacuuming up mess).
- Keep play areas and common areas tidy.

**Transport**:

- Driver’s licence required (family vehicle provided).

**Requirements**:

- Blue Card / Police Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- 2 recent references
- Open driver’s licence
- Commitment of at least 12 months

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
